The best hole on the course - it is included as one of Henry Cotton's 'Eighteen best holes in England'. A big drive is required to carry the cross bunker and set up a 'go at the green'. Alternatively play your second down into the low flat fairway and leave a full pitch in.
This small, undulating and elevated green is hard to hit with any club - concentrate hard. A natural (or even net) four is a real achievement and will make your day.
"Deal is an outstanding links. To sharpen my game there in preparation for this years Open was a privilege and a delight beyond words."
Jack Nicklaus
Holder of 18 Majors and Open Champion 1966, 1970 and 1978
