Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club

Lounges and Dining Room

We have two bar areas in the Clubhouse, the formal Jack Aisher Room and the casual bar area. The bars lead to a large balcony and patio area where you can experience fantastic views of the golf course and across the English Channel.

The Jack Aisher Room is the Club's formal lounge. A superb bronze statue of Harry Vardon looks down on the Halford Hewitt corner whilst honours boards, going back to 1893, record Captains and winners of the Borough of Deal Trophy, The Lord Reading, Lord Brassey, Sir Robert Menzies and Lord Willingdon Cups, all donated by Wardens of the Royal Cinque Ports.

Displayed on the walls of the upstairs landing are the shields of the 64 Public Schools which compete in the annual Halford Hewitt Championship, together with memorabilia of the Open Championships and great Amateur events staged over the years.

The casual bar is less formal and contains trophies and memorabilia including an ancient putter and a driver presented by Seve Ballesteros.

The traditional Dining Room can seat up to 80 people for formal dinners. The Dining Room is host to Club and visitor dinners, as well as outside functions.

To discuss private functions, please contact the office on 01304 374007 ext 5. or email office@royalcinqueports.com.
